Nearly 100 speakers and performers and 7,000 attendees from over 30 countries met last week at Brain Bar Budapest, the Festival of the Future. HIF was a strategic partner of this unique initiative in the capital of Hungary.
Lively, ambitious and unique, Brain Bar Budapest creates the stage for top trendsetters, decision-makers and challengers to exchange ideas in unusual and unrestrained conversation.
As a strategic partner of Brain Bar Budapest, HIF has helped bring outstanding American speakers like legend of futurism Kevin Kelly, guru of game theory Kevin Zollman, Robert D. Kaplan, senior fellow at the Center for a New American Century, George Friedman, founder of Geopolitical Futures, Patrick Vlaskovits, founder of Superpowered, Inc. to the festival. HIF Board member János Csák also spoke at the event and Executive Director Anna Smith Lacey participated as well.
The program’s live stream reached over 250,000 people worldwide, from 60 different countries. 120 outstanding volunteers contributed to the success of the biggest European festival on the ideas of future, welcoming 1000 students and teachers, in an effort to help spread inspiration in classrooms.
