HIF Proudly Supports: A Century of Rebellion & Revival at the Boca Raton Museum of Art

by | Sep 28, 2016 | We Proudly Support

From October 18, 2016 – January 9, 2017 the Boca Raton Museum of Art’s Art of Hungary exhibit displays 100 works of art by Hungarian artists, including such figures as André Kertész and László Moholy-Nagy, and provides a fascinating microcosm of the social and political turmoil that was raging across Europe, from the late 19th century, through WWI and WWII to the collapse of the Soviet Era, giving rise to the birth of the avant-garde.

This exhibition is part of a suite of four exhibitions collectively entitled The Art of Hungary, which is made possible by the Museum’s Exhibition Leadership Fund with major support generously provided by the Estate of Ruth Feigl, Jody H. & Martin Grass, Dalia & Duane Stiller, Lisette Model Foundation, Nancy G. Brinker, Quinnipiac University’s Central European Institute, The Hungary Foundation, Kathy & Leslie Megyeri, and the Museum’s Friends Auxiliary.
