HIF is pleased to support the 10th Hungarian Americans Together Conference to be held on May 19-21 in the Washington area organized by the Hungarian American Coalition and the American Hungarian Heritage House at Marymount University in the Washington DC area.
Hungarian Americans Together (HATOG) is a series of conferences that bring together Hungarian American organizations, schools, clubs, churches, media, and associations to discuss how to ensure the preservation of our cultural heritage and how to address the new generations of Hungarian Americans. The series, co-sponsored by the Coalition, started in 2008 on the East Coast with the intention to always reconvene in a different area around the United States where Hungarians live in significant numbers.
The conference will focus on professional development sessions and hands-on exercises in nonprofit management, grant writing and online learning. Together with the organizers, HIF is working to identify young leaders across the community to participate in this special conference
