Hanna Cartet
Hanna Cartret is a rising freshman at Bocconi University in Milan, where she will be studying International Politics and Government. She is an active member in local and state politics, as she has been both a House and Senate Page for the North Carolina General Assembly. She has also helped organize and run voter registration drives in her hometown. As President of her high school’s chapter of the National Honor Society, she oversaw the donation of nearly 3000 period products to women in need.
Hanna’s passion for European politics stems from her background. As a Hungarian born in Transylvania with Italian-American heritage, Europe has always held a special place in her heart.
In the summer of 2024, she studied abroad at the University of Szeged, focusing on Hungarian Language and Culture. She also knows Spanish and German.
She hopes to pursue a career in foreign policy, consulting, or law.
