We are proud to announce that HuGo – the App for All Things Hungarian in the US has won the Hungarian Marketing Association’s 2022 App of the Year Special Award! This recognition comes from one of the most prestigious online marketing communications competitions in Hungary.
The annual competitions serve as a place to recognize the most successful and up-and-coming leaders, solutions, and contributions to society in digital communication. The competition was fierce, particularly in the App category, where HuGo was given the App of Year 2022 Special Award.
We’re grateful to work with Budapest-based developers of the app at Cubic Fox, who recognizes the importance of making the countless Hungarian cultural contributions to American life easily available for anyone. With the app users can find, locate, and upload information about places of interest themselves and can get real time updates about events happening in their area.
HuGo was launched in 2021 after four years of planning and testing on iOS platforms. Now, the app is also available for Android users and hosts new functions including event notifications, in-app donation, and a more streamlined user experience.
Featuring over a thousand places of interest and several thousand users, HuGo is the app for anyone who loves and appreciates Hungarian culture!
